We’re settled. How can we help the next people?
Once you’re settled, you know the answers newcomers are looking for. This step opens in stages, starting with a small invite-only group.
What you’ll be able to do
- Answer questions from people on the way, including ones our guides don’t answer yet
- Share what you wish you’d known. We read every tip before it goes into a guide
- Get thanks for it. Local stamps, from Newcomer to Local to Local Legend, count helpful answers, not how many you post
How it will work
- Only your first name and area are shown
- Questions about visas, law, tax and money are pointed to official sources and qualified professionals, not answered from members’ opinions
- Every post can be reported, and a named moderator checks the community every day

Shaped by UAE law and by what keeps a community kind:
- Be kind, and keep it about the question, not the person
- Don’t name, shame or criticise people or businesses: write about the service, factually
- Don’t share photos of other people, or anyone’s personal details
- If you meet up, meet in a public place
