Good to know in the UAE
- Most buildings are wired for only one fibre network, e& or du. Check which before you sign a lease. 5G home wireless works almost anywhere.
- You need an Emirates ID (so a residence visa) and usually a tenancy contract; du typically asks for your Ejari registration.
- Fibre contracts are usually 12–24 months. Leaving early costs one month's rent (capped at AED 1,000) plus any equipment balance.
- Installation is often within 24 hours. Online orders usually get the setup fee waived.
Prices checked 11 Oct 2026. All prices include 5% UAE VAT: we added it to the ex-VAT prices most providers advertise. Providers change prices and offers often, and not every plan is sold at every address, so check on the provider’s site before you sign up. We don’t take commission and no provider pays to be listed. How this calculator works
- Tell it how many people live with you and how you use the internet: it suggests the speed you need
- Choose a contract length and which network your building is wired for
- It works out what each plan really costs over 12 or 24 months, including set-up fees and any cheap first months, and puts the cheapest plan that’s fast enough first
- Every plan links to the provider’s own page, with the date we checked the price
